Welcome to SRINAGAR. After airport pickup, you will meet our representative and will be transferred to the hotel. After Checking in welcome tea will be offered in Hotel. You can visit locals including Mughal gardens which are Nishat Bagh (the Garden of Pleasure), and Shalimar Bagh (the abode of love). These gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake, Nishat Garden known as the 'Garden of Pleasure' built in the 16th century (1633) by Mughal Emperor Asif Khan. Then visit Shalimar Garden known as the 'Garden of Love' built in the 16th century (1619) by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa) also visit Chashme Shahi Later visit to famous Pari Mahal, Shankaracharya temple situated on top of a hill where you can have a view of whole Srinagar City. Hazratbal Shrine, Baadam wari. Enjoy shopping at Kashmiri craft & art stores. All these sights can be covered on the day only if time permits if not then locals will be completed on another suitable trip to Kashmir. You can choose to spend your evening enjoying a Shikara ride on the spectacular Dal Lake. Post that, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Srinagar.
Today after breakfast arrival you will be transferred to Pahalgam, enjoy the green pine forest and along the Lidder River, enjoy a pony ride to nearby places like Chandanwadi, and Baisaren (ponies can be hired directly), and enjoy local sightseeing of Pahalgam. Pahalgam is a town and a notified area committee in Anantnag district of the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. It is a popular tourist destination, and every year, many tourists visit Pahalgam. This world-famous hill station is 45 km. from the District Headquarters at Anantnag and located on the banks of Lidder River at an altitude of 7200 ft. from sea level. Pahalgam is one of the five tehsils of Anantnag district and tehsil headquarters are located in the main town of Pahalgam. It was once a tourist attraction and a favorite place for shooting Bollywood films and is still a health resort. Besides tourist huts, several hotels in the private sector have come up here and these hotels provide modern facilities to their guests. Several treks in this region also begin from Pahalgam, as the 35 km trail traverses through pinewoods to the spectacular Kolahoi Glacier. Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd's village with breathtaking views. The most beautiful of these is the huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine. Hajan, on the way to Chandanwari, is an idyllic spot for a picnic. Pahalgam has within it no fewer than eight tiny villages, one of which is Mamal. After an early breakfast leave for a trip to Sonamarg, today you will embark on a full day excursion to the Sonamarg or Sonmarg, located at a hefty altitude of 2,740 m above sea level, literally means 'Meadow of Gold'. The picturesque natural beauty of the region brought this name to Sonamarg. a town surrounded by breathtaking glaciers and serene lakes, is a snow covered beautiful flower-laden meadow in the majestic Himalayan mountain region. Sonamarg in the Kashmir valley is the gateway to Ladakh and situated just before the Zojii La pass. Located at 87 km from Srinagar, the place is renowned for trekking and hiking trails. The snow clad peaks in the Himalaya and the undulated hilly mountainous regions are perfectly suitable for all types of trekking expeditions. En route see the famous Sind stream. Catch the glimpse of famous Thajiwas glaciers.You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment). Sonamarg is the base camp for many trekking expeditions. The major treks passing through various mountain lakes such as Gangabal, Vishansar, Gadsar, Satsar, and Kishansar has its base at Sonamarg. The trekking routes offer all types of challenges, from mild to hardest. The pleasant climate with mild summer and cold winter make this place an ideal location for trekkers to explore the natural beauty and challenging treks. After relaxing you will visit Dal Lake, in the evening where you will enjoy Shikara ride in famous Dal Lake. Overnight stay will be in the hotel in Srinagar.
After breakfast drive towards Gulmarg (The Meadow of the Flowers). Gulmarg located at an altitude of 9,000 ft, is also famous as Lover's paradise. Gulmarg's legendary beauty. Originally called 'Gaurimarg' by shepherds. Today Gulmarg is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty- it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an altitude of 2,650 m, and is the country's premier ski resort in the winter. The journey to Gulmarg is half the enchantment of reaching there - roads bordered by rigid avenues of poplar give over to flat expanses of rice fields interspersed with picturesque villages. Depending on the season, nature's colors could be the translucent green of spring, summer's rich emerald, or autumn's golden hues, when scarlet chilies festoon windows of village homes. After Tangmarg, the climb to Gulmarg begins through fir-covered hillsides. At one point, known simply as View Point, travelers generally stop their vehicles for a few minutes and look out at a spectacle of snow-covered mountains, almost within touching distance. A cable car ride on a Gondola will take you to the Majestic height of 13,000 ft above sea level covering the magnificent views of the Himalayan Mountains and Pirpanjal ranges. You can also enjoy a view of Nanga Parbat if the weather permits. Golf playing, Horse Riding, Hiking & Snow Skiing (during winter end of December -Middle of March) are other activities available here. Overnight stay in Srinagar hotel.
